The Trochilic piston pump performs very similar to the Trochilic High Pressure Gas Engine. By reversing the order of power input, that is, turning the out put shaft will make the engine function as gaseous fluid pump. There are only two Variable Geometry Volumes in a rotation as opposed to four of the combustion engine. This eliminates the need of the gear cage as used in the combustion engine.
